If you’re wondering to yourself,’is it too late to Learn Piano?’ then I believe that I will help you.  Many people think that as you grow older you get stupider and can’t pick up skills simpler.  This is complete rubbish!  It has been proved in recent studies that retirees can form new neural paths in their brains implying that they can learn new things exactly like we can!  These are some of my tips if you’re wondering to yourself’Is it too late to Learn Piano?’.

What do you want out of it? – are you wanting to become a concert level pianist of do you simply wish to play it for fun or to serenade a loved one?  It is smart to grasp what you want precisely or you will never know when you have got there and will never end up there either.  You can set small daily goals to build into something huge as soon as you now what you want to do.

Improve your cortex - Try something similar to a crossword or Sudoku puzzle or eat more fish every day and this can help your cortex begin to get in excellent shape ready for learning how to play Piano.  When I do this, i have found that a great side effect is that you are feeling fantastic!

Are you short on time? – many people today are really pushed for time.  When it is like this you can think that it is difficult to get time to practice, especially if you have got to hire a teacher.  I’m going to tell you something against the standard here but it is also totally true.  Piano teachers charge great extortionate rates because they know that some folk will basically pay them.

As a beginner you don’t need this.  Get a software package for a bit less than the cost of a two hour session with a teacher and it is going to be there when you get some free time and it’s just an one off payment.  You can’t get better can you?  Plenty of the new software programs also come with audio and video inserted into them.  This is great because you can get visual demonstrations of hard concepts on a video directly in front of you and this is exactly what teachers can charge so much for.

ensure you get a good software package though, there are plenty of good ones out there but also some bad ones.
