Be A Part Of An Instant Party

// August 17th, 2011 // music

Imagine Duran Duran, Lady Gaga, The Rolling Stones, Ella Fitzgerald and Toby Keith all waiting for you. Oh yes, here comes the era of the silent disco. It happens anywhere you can fit a record player and equipment and a few DJ’s where the dancers get to chose who they want to play. DJ’s are in a race for your vote on the controller.

However, the lesser known, enhanced version is called mobile clubbing and it is via the iPod. This lets you dictate and select whatever the hell you want to listen to. Decorative iPod 4G cases glowing with dotties and then watching the brightness of an iPod classic cases interacting all on a different selected song. To onlookers it seems like total chaos. But those in the ‘know’ will soon come join when they get updates on their social media connection.

Since 2003 these gatherings have been present. Origins of these get-togethers trails back to London-based artist Ben Cummins. The largest party to date was in 2007 when over 4,000 partiers showed up holding their iPod classic cases and other mobile devices and leaped into an instant party blasting all sorts of fun music like Rilo Kiley, Radiohead and Amy Winehouse. Hours later, the cops had to break it up, but not due to any volume complaints.

Here in the city of angels there are always these discos happening, and now with the cool 4G capability and fun iPod 4G cases there is a party just waiting. Perhaps someone is trying to text you to meet them for a mobile club at the corner right now. That would be awesome!

On the other hand, you might prefer to take it to the alleys and make it a pro-environment event. Try biking to the LA river ways with hundreds of your closest facebook friends and dance under the radiance of a full moon and the beams of 4G iPods and iPod classic cases. All walks of life can put together such a party.

Store this in your brain for when you and your associates are bored stiff on Saturday. It is free, enjoyable and harmless, but beware, you never know who is playing Black Flag and wants to start slam dancing.
